A little about coffee in history

One day a shepherd named Kaldi was herding his flock in the mountains of Abyssinia (Ethiopia), when he observed that his goats were behaving strangely. Intrigued, he approached them and observed that they were chewing the red berries of a bush. He gathered the cherries, He prepared an infusion and drinking it felt uplifted and very energetic.

Legend has it that the priest Francisco Romero Jesuit priest recently ordained, he received the parish of Salazar from Las Palmas in Santander del Norte and had a great fascination and admiration for the coffee, which at that time was very difficult to get. To solve this problem, he decided impose as penance on his parishioners the planting coffee trees according to the severity of  the sins of him.
